Pegasus Early Music
Pegasus Early Music is a non-profit early music organization based in Rochester, NY. Our mission is to present to our community concerts of early music and early opera at the highest professional level. Performed on period instruments with attention to and knowledge of historical style, our concerts and special projects feature world-class artists from Rochester and around the globe.
Pegasus expands the definition of early music, develops new audiences, involves the community through outreach, education, and internships, and collaborates with artists in other disciplines.
Pegasus presents an annual subscription series of 5 concerts that showcase professional musicians to diverse audiences in Rochester and around the upstate New York region.
